Permanent Tooth Eruption

The first permanent molars are the first to emerge in some children. However, in some the incisors are the first to emerge. By age 13 years, most of the 28 permanent teeth will have erupted. Third molars, wisdom teeth, erupt between the ages of 17 and 21, resulting in 32 permanent teeth.
