Eating Healthy to Promote Strong Teeth

Eating a healthy diet is important to promote strong teeth and the overall health of a child. Encourage a well balanced diet high in fruits and vegetables and low in sugar. When bacteria, which is normally found in the mouth, comes in contact with sugars and starches, they produce an acid that is capable of dissolving the enamel on the teeth and starting decay.

Dental health is more important than most people realize. And nutrition plays a big role in this. Want to know what to eat to keep your teeth and gums strong?Did you know that raw, crunchy foods help clean your teeth? Eating raw vegetables or apples will help remove the some of the bacteria, which adheres to the surface of the teeth.
